The Rest of my Trip. Yangshuo

Well here are the rest of the photographs

What you got here are pictures of my climb of Moon Hill. Famous because the hill has a hole that looks like the moon rising. The hotel I stayed in actually was about a 3 min walk from the foot of the hill.

The hotel I stayed in was AWESOME. It was in a small town about 15 kilometers from Yangshuo. I was the only person staying in the hotel, and the on foreigner in the town. It is run by two brothers, their wives, and grandparents. One Couple has a baby girl who is 4 (pic of girl with traditional hat) and the other just had a baby. It must of been 3 months old. They were super kind to me and helped me out a lot. Especially in saving money. When I go back I will be staying there.

There are also pictures of my cooking class and the food I made. I made:
-local beer fish
-chicken with cashews
-stuffed tofu
-eggplant w/ oyster sauce
-veggie with garlic

I was in the class with two mother daughter couples. One from england with a young adopted chinese girl. The other a Jewish mother with her daughter from chicago. They both were great. The daughter (Bari) from the Chicago couple was my age and we got along well as well as the mother.

After cooking Bari and i took a boat ride down a local river. It was great.

The las set of picture were of the spectacular water, light, and sound show that is produced by one of China's best director. The same person who is organizing the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. The show was called Impression and what a impression it had on me. It was sooooo well done and beautiful and at moment had me on the verge of tears.

This is was the best trip i have taken in China. And in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. No wonder Chines considered this one of the most beautiful places in china.

I GOT MARRIED!!!!!

Well I am on a new trip within china. I am visiting Southern China. I am visiting the Guangxi Provence. This area is often considered one of the most beautiful place in China by the chinese, and many regard it as one of the most beautiful in the world. I am visiting two of the more beautiful cities in the area.

Guilin- which is the biggest turist city in the area.

Yangshuo- A much smaller alternative to Guilin. (Much quieter and prettier they say)

I am spending 2 days Guilin and 4 day in Yangshuo.

My first day in Guilin i went to see the Rice Terraces in LongSheng.

I also visited a very famous town where the women NEVER cut there hair. You can not see the there hair until they get married. The husband is first person who can see there hair.

Well, lucky me, I have married one of these women..... just kidding (mom you can breath now). But during the show they put on they showed us a wedding ceremony. I volunteered (you know me always shy). I picked my girl and got married. The fun part is that there way of showing that they love you is by pinching yourbutt. I think all the girls took a bit of liking to me because I had a hard time sleeping last night because of the bruises on my but.

Next the Rice Terraces
It was for the most part a rain day and over cast, but when we reached the top of the mountain to see the rice terraces it cleared up for about 10 min.

Next Yangshuo. I was going to take a boat to the town but today is the suppose to be the rainiest of all day days here so I am going to take the bus instead.

While in Yangshuo I'll be actually staying in the Moon Village which is about 15min from Yangshuo. It is a small but very nice hotel in the middle of nowhere.

I will be TAKING A COOKING CLASS!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA MOM!!!!!! Jealous? Learning to make beer fish (local speciality) Cashew Chicken, Eggplant in oyster and soy sauce, steamed stuff vegetables, and green vegetables which garlic. can not wait.

I was going to volunteer teach but the kids in the area are out of school now :(

Well New Blogs cause the old one cancelled my account. Around the World in a Day

Well, Wordspress officially suck. I just found out that they have cancelled my account. But to my surprise this blog host in MUCH easier to use and the edit side is not blocked which is nice.

So back to the post

In earlier Oct I had a week off for National Holiday. Since I did not have enough money to travel I chilled in Beijing. But my traveling need needed to be meet. So friend and I decided to go around the world in one day (Mom the girl is not a girlfriend ;) )

We decided to go to world park , which has small models of the world famous structure.
